Welcome to My Blog

I Go When No Dog Has Gone Before- Where No Dog Should Go Before

Before We Get Started, I Want to Go on the Record

I am Starting Here

Starting this blog is a BIG step for me. I am a routine kind of dog. I know my grass, I know it’s smell, I know what I like, and I know “when” I am.

Greetings to all of you

This is Duchess. I live in Williamsburg, welcome to my new Blog. This is where I live near Merchant Square. It is a wonderful community of many kinds of humans, a few dogs, chickens, goats and horses. Yes, they allow a variety of animals here. It is very common. The community elders encourage sustainable living. My companion Richard is one of them, although some refer to him as “older” rather than “elder”.

Do you Get the Impression

Do you get the impression we live in the same time zone. The day and month May be the same, BUT, did I tell you the year is 1760?. Yes, this is where I live and this is when I am living. I am a Colonial Labradoodle. I have many friends working in Williamsburg and will visit them daily and try to introduce them to you. I also possess the uncanny ability to travel forward in time, so I can meet visitors to our City from all parts of the world. And I will introduce them to you as well. Sometimes Elder Richard travels with me and sometimes I just go on my own. I do tend to get into trouble when I am by myself, but I have always been able to get out of it and back home. As strange as all of this may sound, I hope you will join me in my travels.

ABOUT ME

My name is Duchess. I am a 5 year old Australian Labradoodle. I live in Williamsburg, VA with Richard

I am generally very content.  I like people and play well with other dogs who do not bark at me, I like ice cream and peanut butter.  If I don’t look happy here, it is because I am dreading this trip.  I don’t like snakes or bears. And I understand when I get out of Pennsylvania, I may not see another WaWa for a month.  An entire MONTH.  What kind of life is that, I ask you?
