I find it interesting that. . .

Humans are so egocentric they think only they can communicate . Actually, most of us, and particularly canines are much better communicators. We use all of our senses. Our hearing is much more advanced and our sense of smell is a blessing and a curse. What I have learned is to let Richard believe he needs to keep it simple and to repeat himself frequently. He either tires of it, or is so pleased with himself that “I got it” he gives me a treat. I have found the more he works at it, the more beef jerky I get. He’s so trainable.

  1. Duchess,

I can’t stop laughing, I mean I don’t mean to be rude, but your speaking in human is just outrageously adorable. From one friend to another, I may have to talk to you about this latest gift of yours – awesome!

  2. Duchess, I have known all along that it’s the dog who trains the human.
I know this to be true having been fully trained by two beagles in the past.

  3. Duchess, So true. One wise soul once said if you put a human and a dog in a room for 2 hours, the dog will do most of the training!! – Your friends Sandy, Rosie & Holly

  4. Duchess ,

I have listened to this post over and over again! Your voice is amazing! I laugh so much it’s hard to hear what you are saying!!! Think I have it now…but a small giggle still slips out! You are very smart! Maybe you could teach Lulu to communicate like you? Lulu
