There is a famous poem, called rainbow bridge…
It is a story about a special place. When a dog and her human soulmate part, one waits there, and bask in its splendidness. When it is time for them to be together again, they meet on Rainbow Bridge, and are together forever.
Richard has found his Rainbow Bridge at York River State Park in Williamsburg. We visit it a couple of times each week. It is called Woodstock Pond. We are here now. I thought I would share it with you. ,,,

Beautiful poem…I look forward to meeting our Peanut there some day.
Duchess,
I am very familiar with the Rainbow Bridge. I have two beagles waiting there for me. Their vet even sent us the poem after we did that last thing “for them”.
Duchess,
Rainbow Bridge has apparently been of solace to my Mom more than once. Prior to my being born there was a feisty spirited Westie named Riley who lived w my Mom and Dad. Whenever they visited Maui, a lovely man named Ricardo used to take care of Riley, usually for 6 weeks. In 2020 when Steve and Dianna moved to Williamsburg they received word that their long time friend Ricardo had an aneurysm at 56 and was gone. In the meantime here, Riley who was 12 yo became very ill and made his final trip to Godspeed before he ran over the RB to be greeted by his faithful longtime caregiver, Ricardo who had only waited 2 weeks for his arrival. Yep my mom still cries, is crying, over that. But I love the story of the RB!

So True. Thank you for sharing

What a beautiful place in your bubble and with such wonderful words of warmth and caring! We all need special places like that but sadly many are too busy to take the time to find such solace. You and Jethro are fortunate to be able to share this beautiful bubble and the thoughts and memories that it shares with you.
