He found the underbelly of blowing rock. I told you that one of the things he was going to do on this trip was to see his friend Judd. Last night he gave the car’s GPS Judd’s address. First we encountered a sign indicating that the pavement ended. We found ourselves at dusk on a gravel road. Rather than turn around, Jethro, for whatever reason, decided to go for it. It was like a scene from deliverance. There were pick up trucks and guns everywhere. Jethro was in his element. All I could think about was that I would never see the Biltmore again. Well, we finally reached Judd’s, and as we entered the family room, there on the counter, was a jar of possum seasoning. I kid you not. Possum seasoning.
This dog is making sure that the air streams next campground is at the Biltmore…..
Asheville’s Daisy Mae Duchess
Jethro might be out of his element…
Duchess – OMG…I am beginning to worry about ALL of this adventure! You are growing up much too fast. I hope you are behaving and Richard is watching you carefully!
Carmie & Lulu
Duchess, I feel for you! I am not eating possum!
Duchess you never know what Jethro will do next. A pickup truck would be a perfect replacement for the Mini.
Tali
Duchess,
I’m somewhat relieved to hear your words after reading the headline. I thought for sure you two would be returning to CC in a red pickup with – well – flags! You know the kind!!
As far as the possum seasoning is concerned you might buy some for Richard to use on the “road kill” grilling he’s bound to take up next!! OMG!
Miss you,
Lily
Duchess,
The box says “Leave a Comment”, but I have none to leave. I’m speechless🙄🤐.

Keep your nose to the ground and stick to Jerky & the Biltmore’s piping hot hush puppies and filets. better reel in some of the tether that you have on Jethro before he finds himself in more Bubba Doo! Keep him away from snifin’ the moonshine as well as Jed’s Gun Shop.
