Jethro took the Blue ridge Parkway to Asheville today. Fall Foliage- drop dead gorgeous. I wore one of my colonial outfits to the Biltmore and held court. Everyone thought I was part of an exhibit. Since no one knows what went on 120 years before the Vanderbilts, I simply told them this was the original Williamsburg. I was an instant hit. And who is going to argue with a talking dog?

    Daisy had her ankle operation on Tuesday and Lori says she is taking it nicely, Daisy I mean. I think Lori is ok too but moms take their doggies troubles seriously!

    I’m told that Thursday’s New Testament lecture went swimmingly / whatever THAT means and that my dad remains the NT scholar of Thursday evenings!!!! Rick was there and asked lots of great questions. I hear all of this second hand as you know YOU are the only dog ever invited to attend! Alas, I may never learn about Robert, Mark, Larry and ……. Oh I think it’s Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. I know Luke already he waters Bruce’s grass….oh I digress my dear friend.
