It’s not my fault . . . .

My last entry was on Christmas, and I fully intended to continue as usual. But, while we were in Asheville, Jethro decided to get himself a Holiday present.  And what do you think it was?  Can you believe it, he has become obsessed with Lego’s.  I am almost embarrassed to say it.  And when I say “obsessed” I don’t mean in a small way.  Jethro never does anything in a small way.  He is “Legoing” THE ORIENT EXPRESS.  This is not a one night Project.  The house is covered with Legos.  Now, I have to admit, I am having some fun, slowing him down.  When he drops a piece (and he is prone to do that), I like to hide it.  Drives him crazing and it slows him down.  And slowing down is a good thing, because he has all of the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome.  And, of course, he has the groomer trying to create a new Doodle image of me.  Actually, I kind of like it.

  1. Did I miss your posts from Charleston or weren’t there any? I would have loved reading about what you and Jethro did while you were there.

  2. We are here In Charleston. I am just sulking. I am still not over the thought he is trying to move me so far from the Biltmore next winter. On a good note, he found a location with no alligators. D.M.D.

  3. So happy to hear from you, Duchess. It seems like a long time. I agree with Taccie. We need pictures of Richards Lego creations. The Biltmore is no more??? Any idea where you will be next winter???? Well, Duchess all I can say , “Never a dull day.”

  4. Oh Duchess, I apologize now for my grandsons knocking on your door during the last week of March to see this Lego creation!
